Liverpool Guild of Students says a massive thank you for another bin-credible year of Leave Liverpool Tidy!
The donation bags have been counted and sorted, the items have been donated, and the litter pickers have been hung up (for now!) and we just want to say a huge thank you for all your support for another amazing year of Leave Liverpool Tidy! And the results are in…..
Across the days of actions 50 volunteers from the Guild, JMSU and the University Sustainability team were out across Smithdown and Kensington, powered by a Costco brekkie, and collected:
👖147 bags of clothes
📦10 boxes of homeware
🍴16 boxes of crockery
📖10 bags of books
🥫More food donations than we had crates for
💚Plus, Ipads, chargers, shelving units, picture frames and more clothes horses than Ikea!
It’s safe to say we filled the British Heart Foundation truck to the brim and the items are on their way to finding a new home!
